Major Previous Appointments
 Dr. Meng has focused his career on the diagnosis of surgical pathology for more than twenty years. He had worked as an associate professor and chief physician of pathology in the Department of Pathology, Shandong University School of Medicine from 2003 to 2013. From Jan. 2009 to Jan. 2010 he received one year training of Hamatopathology as a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Pathology and Microbiology, UNMC, Omaha, NE, USA. His expertise is the pathologic diagnosis of lymphoma and cancer molecular diagnosis, and he is also good at the pathologic diagnosis of tumors occurring in various organs and tissues such as thyroid, lung, GI, GYU, soft tissue and so on. 

Fields of Interests
Prof. Meng’s major research interest is on molecular mechanisms of the progressing, drug-resistant and relapse of lymphomas (focus on DLBCL), and the application of biomarkers in pathological diagnosis.
