Background

Based on the theory of immunological mechanism, this study aims at analyzed the components of the symptom group of patients with lung cancer during radiotherapy. Individual guide and nursing based on the theory of cognitive behavioral therapy would be carried out according to symptom form and willingness of patients, which would be expected to simplifying workflow, improving symptom relief efficiency, immune function and treatment tolerance as well as quality of life during radiotherapy, and also providing theoretical and practical guidance for immunological treatment for symptoms of lung cancer patients during radiotherapy.


Method

The study is divided into two parts. The first part is the study of the immunological mechanism of the disease symptom group during the radiotherapy of lung cancer patients. longitudinal research has been applied in this study. General demographic data was collected after the patient is admitted to the hospital. Before radiotherapy, during radiotherapy (30~40Gy), after radiotherapy (60Gy), the relevant symptom scales were collected and blood was drawn in the morning. Conserving at 4 °C, the EDTA anti-coagulation purple tube was used to detect the levels of IL-1, IL-6 and TNF-α cytokines. The second part is the effect of cognitive behavioral therapy on the symptomatic symptom group of patients with lung cancer radiotherapy. The cognitive behavioral intervention was developed based on the immunological mechanism of disease symptom. The patients with lung cancer were randomized into 2 groups. The experimental group implemented the cognitive behavioral intervention program, and the control group received routine nursing. The degree of relief of the symptomatic symptom group and the changes of various cytokines were observed before, during, and after radiotherapy. The results showed that sleep disorders, anxiety, depression and fatigue were positively correlated with IL-6 levels after radiotherapy. Cognitive-behavioral therapy can effectively alleviate patients’ symptoms during radiotherapy and improve the quality of life.
