In the sub-sessions on hepatobiliary cancer, we focused on the early diagnosis and treatment of hepatobiliary cancer, the use of MDTs, and the standardized selection of surgical procedures. In the sub-session on MDTs, six teams from all over the country shared their experience in developing MDTs in hepatocellular carcinoma, biliary tract tumor and colon cancer liver metastasis. Particularly the extensive application of minimally invasive technology, will bring great benefit to patients. At the same time, the development of MDTs will enable the treatment of hepatobiliary cancer to be more precise, standardized and individualized.
The conference demonstrated the standardized treatment and surgical technology of hepatobiliary cancer in the Asia-pacific region, and the progress of treatment in digestive and infectious diseases in Tianjin and throughout the whole country.
